  • Movie night starts with the screening of I Am Woman on the big screen.

I Am Woman (M) (116 minutes)

I Am Woman tells the story of singer and activist Helen Reddy, who came to prominence during the 1970s. Reddy (1941-2020) was an Australian singer, songwriter, actress and activist. Her Grammy-winning song "I Am Woman" became the anthem of the feminist movement during the 1970s, as well as Reddy's trademark.

Regardless of gender, everyone is welcome to join us as we celebrate the great contributions of local women both past and present under this year’s IWD theme, ‘Count her In: Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress’.

For those attending the movie screening it is advised to bring along some mozzie repellent.
