Irish Jam Session with Cat Moser

Join in with a Traditional Irish Folk Jam Session in celebration of St Patrick’s Day!

Led by the very talented Cat Moser, you’ll learn how to ‘shuffle along’, develop deeper listening skills, and gain confidence learning new tunes by ear.

Bring along your violin/fiddle, viola, banjo, guitar, mandolin, ukelele, double bass or cello, woodwind instrument, accordion or bodhran and your voice.

Open to musicians of all ages and skill levels, however those who have mastered the basics will get the most out of this session.

Not a musician? No problem! Everyone is welcome to come along to the session to watch, listen and tap your toes.

This workshop is free to attend, however places are limited. Please email kylie@cmvic.org.au to secure your spot.

Former local Cat Moser is a singer and multi-instrumentalist in various bands and ensembles that tour nationally and overseas. She is a community arts worker, music teacher and has recently completed her Masters of Therapeutic Arts Practice at MIECAT Institute. Cat and her partner Clint also lead a monthly Old Time Session in Trentham.

This event is presented by Mildura Rural City Council in partnership with Community Music Victoria and supported by Helen Mcpherson Trust as part of Growing Community Music.
