Mildura Sister City Film Night

The evening will consist of two films.

The first film, "Watch", a short film shot on location in Mildura and Buronga by Daniel Robbins, formerly of Mildura.

The second film, "River", a stunning film narrated by Willem Dafoe,

Throughout history, rivers have shaped our landscape and our journey; flowed through our culture and dreams. RIVER takes its audience on a journey through space and time – spanning 6 Continents and drawing on extra-ordinary cinematography, including Satellite filming.

The film shows rivers on scales and perspective never seen before.

Its union of image, music and space and poetic script create a film that is both dreamlike and powerful, honouring the wilderness of rivers, but also recognising their vulnerability.
