Refugee Week – free movie screening

Mildura Rural City Council will mark 2023 Refugee Week with a special movie event at Wallis Cinema from 7pm on Friday 23 June.

We’re inviting you to attend a FREE screening of 'Home' while also hearing from guest speakers discussing their personal experiences.

The movie selected for the event pays homage to the 2023 Refugee Week theme ‘Finding Freedom’.

The theme aims to promote harmony and togetherness, while acting as a reminder that regardless of our differences, we all share a common humanity.
