Summer movie fun @ Powerhouse Place

Enjoy some FREE summer movie fun on the big screen at Powerhouse Place (122 Hugh King Drive, Mildura) this January!

Head down every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night from 9pm to enjoy a series of family-friendly flicks.

Friday 5 January – The Queen’s Corgi (PG) – 85 mins

The British monarch's (Dame Julie Walters') favourite dog gets lost from the palace and finds himself at a dog fight club. He then begins his long journey to find his way back home.

Saturday 6 January – Barbie (PG) – 191 mins

Margot Robbie leads this musical comedy as Stereotypical Barbie, who experiences a full-on existential crisis and embarks on a journey of self-discovery. Along for the ride is her beau Ken, played by Ryan Gosling. Kate McKinnon, Issa Rae, Simu Liu, Ncuti Gatwa, Kingsley Ben-Adir and Scott Evans also portray various Barbies and Kens in Barbie Land, the pink utopia at the centre of the film, and the rest of the cast includes America Ferrera, Michael Cera and Will Ferrell.

Sunday 7 January – Rams (PG) – 126 mins

Rams is a 2020 Australian comedy-drama film starring Sam Neill, Michael Caton and Miranda Richardson. It is based on the Icelandic drama film Rams (2015) by Grímur Hákonarson. At the 2021 ARIA Music Awards, the album was nominated for Best Original Soundtrack, Cast or Show Album.
