Sunraysia Farmers and Makers Market is a not-for-profit community organisation.

Our Farmers and Makers Markets differ from conventional markets in that customers are buying directly from the producer or maker. This enables the customer to build a relationship of trust and informed choice. The main principles of our farmers and makers market are –

• The producer has: grown, reared, baked, brewed, fermented, caught, smoked, pickled, or preserved the product he/she is selling.

• The maker has: handcrafted the products, or been the creative control over image acquisition (in the case of photography or AI art) and does not outsource the manufacturing of their products.

• Each stall is staffed by at least one person who has intimate knowledge of, and direct involvement with, the making or creative process of any items for sale.

• Priority is given to makers from the local area. To increase diversification, makers may be accepted from further afield; however, they should not be in direct competition with a local maker.

It's a great place to catch up with friends, listen to local music, enjoy breakfast and kit yourself out with your grocery needs for the week and treats or gifts for family, friends, or yourself!

Our market is generally held on the first and third Saturday of the month, but refer to our website for a full list of dates.
