Rates Payment Plans

We understand that sometimes it’s not easy to get your annual rates paid in full by the due date and more time is needed. To assist, you can enter into a Rates Payment Plan and receive an interest-free extension.

Who can apply for a Payment Plan?

Any ratepayer with rates owing can apply.

How often and how much?

Payment Plans can be for weekly, fortnightly or monthly payments.  The amount is up to you. However, the minimum amount that will be accepted is an amount that pays your rates owing in full within 12 months.

When do payments start?

Your first payment is required within 7 days of submitting your application if you’re making weekly payments, within 14 days if you’re making fortnightly payments or within 1 month if you’re paying monthly.
