Rates and valuations

All property owners in Mildura Rural City are required to make a contribution towards running Council and the services it provides to the community. Rates contribute to just over half of Council’s revenue and are calculated on an equity-based system.

Single Farm Enterprise Exemption

Where multiple parcels of farm land are used to operate a single farming enterprise, a person may only be required to pay the fixed charge once by applying for the single farming enterprise exemption.
