Sustainable library practices

The library service has implemented several processes which foster a sustainable work environment. We are also proud recipients of a council award for these sustainable practices.

- Recycling discarded books. One of our booksellers collects our old books for recycling. All books are either donated or recycled.

- Biodegradable book covering. The covering decomposes along with the books when they are recycled.

- Additional examples include recycling CD discs and using biodegradable post packs and bubble wrap.
