Home Library
Our Home Library service is available to all residents who have difficulty visiting the library because of illness, frailty or disability. You are also eligible if you are temporarily housebound due to injury or surgery.
Home library staff record your reading preferences, DVDs or audio books, and develop a profile to help with selecting future materials. Our friendly volunteers and staff will exchange your items on Monday mornings on a regular basis.
How to join
Provide personal details and proof of your current residential address. If you are living at home, a doctor’s certificate is required stating that you are housebound and cannot access the library without assistance.
Residents of a nursing home are automatically eligible for our Home Library service. Contact your local library to speak to a staff member about our Home Library service.
