Library of Things
The Library of Things (LoT) offers a diverse selection of items to borrow for free with your Mildura Rural City Council Libraries LoT membership.
The library extends beyond books, offering a variety of useful items. The library’s collection is unique, transforming it into a hub of shared resources. Borrowing items like tools, electronics, household appliances, toys and outdoor equipment and by borrowing before buying, customers save money, reduce waste and encourage sustainable usage, while promoting community engagement.
The collection allows you to:
- Access equipment you might not be able to afford
- Make informed decisions by trying items before buying
- Repair items instead of discarding them
- Be aware of other library collections such as craft and cooking books
- Engage in sustainable practices and self sufficiency
