Free Seed Library

Want to grow your own vegetables and herbs?

You can now borrow seeds, including seeds for native edible plants, from our libraries.

It is a great way to get your garden started.

The library has resources you can borrow to help grow strong, healthy plants.

How the Seed Library works.

Borrow up to 3 packets of seeds from the library.

Plant seeds as per instructions on the packet.

Sow your seeds, watch them grow and enjoy seeing the fruits of your labour.

Donate collected seeds back to the Seed Library for others to enjoy.

Donate any produce you have left over to the foodbank at SMECC, the Soup Kitchen and Neighbourhood House Ouyen. It is a great way to pay it forward and help others in our community.

Come along to our educational sessions and learn about sustainable gardening.
