Each week during term time our libraries in Merbein, Mildura and Red Cliffs host afterschool programs for primary school aged kids.

LEGO Makers - Red Cliffs Library

LEGO Makers @ Red Cliffs Library is a free weekly program for young people.

Tuesdays during term time 3:45pm to 4:45pm

Do you know a young person who loves LEGO?

Each week during term time Red Cliffs Library hosts LEGO Makers an afterschool program. 

Whether you take one of our LEGO challenges or use your imagination to build something amazing, it’s time to try your hand at being a LEGO master!  What will you build?

LEGO Maker sessions are free, no bookings required.

 

 

 

Mix it up - Mildura Library

Join us at Mildura Library for our after-school program during school terms, featuring engaging activities like mindfulness colouring, LEGO challenges, crafts, and tech fun. Designed for kids aged five to 13.

Wednesdays - 3:45pm to 4:45pm.

Mindfulness Colouring - 9 October, 6 November, 4 December

Kids are encouraged to take a break and relax while colouring.

LEGO Challenges -16 October, 13 November, 11 December

Young people will have loads of fun using LEGO to solve engineering challenges or build something great.

Clever Kits - 23 October, 20 November, 18 December

Get crafty and make something cute to take home! Bookings required and can be made by telephoning 03 5018 8350.

Tech Zone - 30 October, 27 November

Learn about coding with BeeBots or have playing games using the Osmos in the tech zone.

Makerspace - Merbein Library

Makerspace at Merbein Library is a creative after school program that uses hands-on activities to explore and make.

Term 4 Program

10 October - Tinkering.  Make something creative from boxes and recycled materials – What will you make!

17 October - Something Fishy Make a puffer fish and fish skeleton

24 October - Operation make a game Electrical magnetic game to make

31 October - Sand pictures Create a picture using different coloured sands.

7 November – Make a Trapeze Sloth Build a friendly sloth that spins like an acrobat 

14 November – LEGO challenge Build a garden, combine them all to make one giant garden

21 November - Have Fun with Shadows Explore the engaging fun of shadows

28 November - Frankentoys. Grab some soft toys, cut them up, mix them up and make a whole new creation

5 December - Christmas Craft Decoupage Christmas baubles

12 December - Christmas ornaments and Christmas party Make a cinnamon dough ornament that smells like Christmas
