Fourth instalment rates reminder

Mildura Rural City Council is reminding property owners who pay their rates in quarterly instalments that their fourth payment is due on Monday 31 May.

Rates can be paid in person at any of Council’s Service Centres, online and in person at Australia Post, via BPAY, mail or via Centrepay for those receiving Centrelink payments.

Residents can also pay by direct debit by visiting Council’s website and filling in a direct debit request form.

Ratepayers who registered for Financial Hardship due to COVID-19 are reminded that the interest exemption on overdue municipal rates and charges expires on 31 May.

Anyone experiencing financial difficulties or having trouble making rates payments should contact Council as soon as possible to discuss their circumstances and make alternative arrangements.
