2025 Kindergarten registrations now open

Registrations for 2025 three and four-year-old kindergarten places are now open for 11 local kindergartens.
Parents and guardians looking to register their children for kindergarten next year can do so through an online central registration process.
Mildura Rural City Council coordinate registrations for the following kindergartens:
- Playalong Early Learning Centre
- De Garis Kindergarten
- Pasadena Preschool
- Shine Bright Irymple Kindergarten
- Kathleen Kelly Kindergarten
- Shine Bright Mildura South Kindergarten
- Nangiloc & District Kindergarten
- Mildura West Kindergarten
- Red Cliffs Kindergarten
- Shine Bright St Margaret’s Kindergarten
- Shine Bright Merbein Kindergarten.
Parents and guardians can register for these kindergartens by completing an online form at www.mildura.vic.gov.au/kindergarten
Registrations at other local kindergartens can be made directly with those groups.
Councillor for Community Health and Wellbeing Troy Bailey said kindergartens provide a range of experiences to help three and four-year-old children develop and learn before starting school.
“Those years before starting school are important in developing social skills and encouraging a love of learning,” Cr Bailey said.
“We are very fortunate to have some amazing kindergartens available across our community.”
Registrations under the centralised system opened on 1 June 2024, with first-round places closing on 31 July 2024. Registrations will still be accepted and collated after this date.
Registrations for second-round places close on 31 August 2024, while the third-round closes 30 September 2024. Registrations will continue until children have been allocated places.
