Annual Community Satisfaction Survey now open
Published on 11 March 2016
Mildura Rural City Council is once again inviting residents and ratepayers to provide feedback on Council services, facilities and the organisation’s overall performance by completing their annual survey.
Council’s Community Satisfaction Survey opens today and everyone is encouraged to have a say.
Mayor Glenn Milne said the survey asked people to rate 71 different Council services in terms of their importance and their performance.
“As a local government organisation, Council delivers a vast range of services, facilities and infrastructure to the community. From roads and recycling, to child care and sporting facilities, the roles and functions of Council are very diverse,” Cr Milne said.
“Our annual Community Satisfaction Survey is an opportunity to gauge how important people feel some of these services are, and how they are performing.”
Cr Milne said Council would use the survey results to help plan for the next twelve months and determine which areas the organisation could make improvements on.
“These sort of surveys are really important because they help us to really quantify what’s important to the community collectively, what we are doing well and what we need to improve upon,” he said.
“That’s why it is so important we keep in touch with their thoughts and ensure what we are doing reflects the needs of our community.”
Council’s annual Community Satisfaction Survey can be accessed online at www.mildura.vic.gov.au/haveyoursay and hard copies are also available at all Council Service Centres and Libraries.
The survey is open until 10 April 2016.
