Bestselling author Amanda Hampson to visit local libraries
Published on 15 May 2024
Mildura Rural City Council Libraries will welcome bestselling cosy crime author Amanda Hampson to the Mildura and Ouyen Libraries for a morning tea and discussion next week.
During the morning tea events, Amanda will talk about her life, writing, and her latest novel ‘The Cryptic Clue’ which is the latest adventure in The Tea Ladies mystery series.
The Tea Ladies series follows four tea women in 1960s Sydney who become accidental sleuths after a murder in their building. As luck would have it, these tea ladies aren’t too bad at solving murders and busting criminals.
Councillor for Arts, Culture and Heritage Helen Healy said it will be a great opportunity for fans, both young and old, to meet Amanda in person and delve into discussions about her latest novel.
“I encourage everyone to come along for this special event to spend some time talking to a great Australian author,” Cr Healy said.
“It will provide a chance for Sunraysia residents to gain firsthand insight into the inspiration behind Amanda’s work, as well as the creative process for writing a bestselling book.
