Free Circus Oz workshops at MAC

Mildura Arts Centre and Circus Oz are bringing two highly skilled circus performers to the region on Thursday 15 and Friday 16 March to provide five circus workshops.

Mildura Rural City Councillor for Arts and Culture Jason Modica said the workshops are free and ideal for the education community, dance and fitness groups and circus enthusiasts. 

“It is wonderful that Circus Oz are able to provide workshops for our community prior to their upcoming performance of Model Citizens on Wednesday 2 May,” Cr Modica said. 

Described as “a rock-n-roll, all human circus”, Circus Oz performances take in breath-taking stunts, cracking live music and an all-human ensemble.

This month’s workshops will provide participants with a unique experience of what it’s like to be part of this exciting show.

Circus Oz workshops

The workshops are free and will include:  

Physical movement

Acro balance

Circus skills

Juggling and manipulation

Times and Dates

1pm and 4pm, Thursday 15 March

10am, 1pm and 4pm, Friday 16 March
