Residents and visitors to our region are being asked to provide feedback on road safety across our municipality.

Those interested are being asked to complete a five-minute survey, with questions to focus on how often people utilise the network, how they utilise it (by car, bicycle etc.) and how safe they feel on our roads.

Feedback will also help inform Mildura Rural City Council’s updated Mildura Road Safety Strategy, which aims to identify goals and priorities over the next five years, while aligning with the new Victorian Road Safety Strategy 2021-2030.

Councillor for Infrastructure and Assets Glenn Milne said Council would continue to adopt a Safe System approach to road safety.

“The Safe System approach aims to address all elements of a safe road transport system,” he said.

“No death or serious injury occurring on our road network is acceptable, and we’re encouraging the community to share their views and help us understand road safety issues and areas for improvements.

“It will also go a long way when it comes to informing our updated Road Safety Strategy, which will be reviewed and presented to the community for feedback in 2023.”

Feedback closes 5pm on Friday 23 December 2022, and can be provided online at yoursay.mildura.vic.gov.au/MilduraRoadSafety
