Mildura Arts and Culture Advisory Committee positions available
Published on 15 March 2021
If you have a passion for the arts and want to play a key role in igniting arts and culture in our region, consider nominating for a position on the Mildura Arts and Culture Advisory Committee.
Nominations are now open to fill five community positions on the committee, which will be taken until 4pm on Monday 22 March.
Councillor for Arts, Culture and Heritage Mark Eckel said the committee works with Mildura Rural City Council to further develop Mildura Arts Centre as a nationally and internationally recognised precinct, as well as driving further development in the arts.
“We’re fortunate to have a thriving arts scene in our region, but we’re always looking to further enhance and develop it, which adds to the vitality and vibrancy of our community,” Cr Eckel said.
“Becoming a member of the Mildura Arts and Culture Advisory Committee is a rewarding opportunity to join a team of like-minded people who are passionate about arts and culture, and have a willingness to participate in the development of these areas in our community.”
