New ticket packages for dance enthusiasts at MAC

Mildura Arts Centre has launched a new discounted ticket package for 2017 dance shows.

Mildura Arts Centre is presenting four highly acclaimed dance productions in 2017 starting with Bangarra‘s Terrain on Saturday 18 February.

Ticket packages are available for Terrain, Rule of Thirds: Chunky Move, Archè: Melbourne Ballet Company and Be Yourself (Redux): Australian Dance Theatre.

Mildura Rural City Council’s Arts and Culture portfolio Councillor Jason Modica said it was hoped the new ticket packages would encourage more people to see dance shows in 2017.

“Leading Australian dance companies like Chunky Move, Australia Dance Theatre and Melbourne Dance Company have performed across Australia and overseas, but never in Mildura,” Cr Modica said.

“The presentation of high quality dance productions to a regional and remote area such as our municipality provides creative and development opportunities for our strong local dance communities as well as our general audiences to enjoy and learn from.”

The discounted dance ticket package is only available when people purchase tickets in one transaction.

Tickets can be purchased online, over the phone or in person at Mildura Arts Centre Box Office.
