Be Connected Expo, a chance for organisations to showcase services
Published on 02 September 2022
Local providers of services and programs that support aged care, people with a disability, carers and volunteers have an opportunity to promote their organisation at the upcoming Mildura Be Connected Expo.
To be held at the Mildura Sporting Precinct on Friday 14 October, service providers will have the opportunity to set up stalls and showcase their services and programs.
Mildura Rural City Council is seeking expressions of interest now from organisations keen to be involved.
Councillor for Community Health and Wellbeing Troy Bailey said the Expo was a great opportunity for the community to learn more about local services available to them or their family at one location, as well as for service providers to promote their organisations.
“As the name suggests, Mildura Be Connected Expo is all about connecting local residents to the services and support they need, and we’re seeking as many organisations as possible to showcase their products and services,” Cr Bailey said.
“This will ensure people who come along to the Expo in October have a comprehensive range of services and organisations to learn about.”
Organisations interested in featuring a stall at the Expo are asked to complete an expression of interest form by Friday 16 September at https://bit.ly/BeConnectedExpo
As part of their expression of interest, organisations need to submit a copy of their public liability insurance. Eligible stall-holders will also be notified of any additional requirements as planning for the event continues.
