Second instalment rates reminder

Mildura Rural City Council is reminding residents who pay their rates in quarterly instalments that their second payment is due on Friday 30 November.
Council rates can be paid in one lump sum (on or before 15 February 2019) or the amount due can be spread out over the course of the year and paid in four instalments.
Ratepayers who paid their first instalment in full by the due date, and have yet to receive a second instalment notice are encouraged to contact Council.
Rates can be paid in person at any of Council’s Service Centres, online and in person at Australia Post, via BPAY, mail or via Centrepay for those receiving Centrelink payments.
Residents can also pay by direct debit by visiting Council’s website and filling in a direct debit request form.
Anyone experiencing financial difficulties or having trouble making rates payments should contact Council as soon as possible to discuss their circumstances and make alternative arrangements.
