Share your voice and help shape Nichols Point’s future

Mildura Rural City Council is reviewing the Nichols Point Community Plan - a crucial step in shaping the future of our communities.
Community Plans are invaluable documents created by the community, for the community, helping to identify key projects and initiatives.
Councillor for Community Development and Gender Equity Helen Healy said it was vital that Nichols Point residents, businesses and other stakeholders contributed their ideas to benefit Nichols Point and continue its growth.
“Your participation is crucial in shaping the future of Nichols Point,” Cr Healy said.
“Let's work together to create a vibrant and thriving community that reflects the needs and aspirations of its residents.”
Those interested in sharing their thoughts can do so via Council’s online engagement platform – YourSay.
“YourSay provides a convenient and accessible way for you to have your say on the projects and initiatives that matter most to you,” Cr Healy said.
“Residents, businesses owners and those interested can provide feedback through an online survey, telling us what they value most about their community, what they believe are the community’s main challenges and community projects they would like to see completed.
“The platform is a quick way to share ideas and see what other people are thinking, while you can also share stories, images or videos of things you love about the Nichols Point community or would like to see developed as a community project.”
Council will also host face-to-face information sessions where Nichols Point residents and businesses can learn more about the Community Plan review process, ask questions and share their insights with Council staff.
Details about upcoming sessions will be shared through YourSay and Council’s social media channels.
