Seniors Festival

The Victorian Seniors Festival is a statewide initiative that celebrates ageing positively throughout the month of October and recognises the important contribution older people make to our community.

The Festival is an annual event and is an opportunity for people over 55 to learn what activities are available to them and to join clubs and groups in the local community.

Mildura Rural City Council proudly presents a local program of events to mark the festival each year.

We’re currently calling on expressions of interest from local groups and organisations to hold a free or low-cost event or activity as part of this year’s Seniors Festival.

Groups, clubs and organisations can hold information sessions, events that promote positive ageing, gardening and craft activities, learning opportunities, entertainment, tours, exercise programs or come and try days – the list is endless!

This is an amazing opportunity to showcase your group or organisation while connecting with older adults in our community.

If you would like your event or activity listed in the program please:

  • Complete the online EOI form
  • Send your EOI to Mildura Rural City Council’s Positive Ageing Facilitator: PO Box 105, Mildura Victoria, 3502 by Friday 2 August 2024
  • Contact 03 5018 8100 and speak to our Positive Ageing Facilitator
