Keep Australia Beautiful Victoria Partnership

Mildura Rural City Council is proudly partnering with Keep Australia Beautiful Victoria (KABV) to make our region the most liveable town in Australia.

We should all take great pride in where we live, and we all have a responsibility to take care of the place we call home.

Council has a long-standing relationship with KABV and through this partnership we will be sharing resources around waste management, sustainable living, while also encouraging the wider community to take part in Keep Australia Beautiful programs, initiatives and events.

Keep Australia Beautiful Victoria is one of Australia’s longest-standing environmental non-profit groups dedicated to inspiring and empowering community action to protect and enhance our environment.

The group encourages community to reduce litter in their neighbourhoods – this includes schools, sports team, neighbours or workplaces getting involved in neighbourhood clean-ups or finding ways to reduce waste and litter.

KAB’s Tidy Towns and Cities Sustainability Awards also celebrates inspiring community-led sustainability programs.
