Refugee Families arriving from overseas
If you or your family are new to Australia, before you can attend childcare, kindergarten or school, you may need to get vaccinated. Immunisation is a way of keeping yourself, your family and the community safe from infectious disease.
Mildura Rural City Council offers FREE vaccinations for refugee and humanitarian entrants, available through the National Immunisation Program for infants, school children and adults.
All refugees and asylum seekers of any age are eligible to receive catch-up vaccines for free.
If you are a new client who has recently moved from overseas and requires catch-up Immunisations for yourself or your child, please email the translated overseas history to immunisation@mildura.vic.gov.au or call 03 5018 8100 prior to making your booking.
