Report Traffic Counter/Classifier Damage
A traffic counter is used to automatically collect traffic volume counts. A classifier is used to classify vehicle classification type and collect speed data. Data collected by a traffic counter/classifier is stored within the device until its transferred into council’s database.
You can report a damaged traffic classifier to us for repair.
Loose rubber tubes can be hazardous for passing vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists.

You will need to tell us:
- Your name
- Your contact information
- The location of the traffic classifier
- “Describe the issue.”
